Working in the computer lab with a partner, you are going to be responsible for several things. Your first job is to complete the webquest that you find here. You will type your answers into the document found below, entitled TaxcoWebquestQuestions.doc. Just type your answers in as you find them. You should only have one set of answers for both you and your partner, even though you can split the work up and each take a set of questions. If you want to start typing in your own Word document and then put your answers together into one when you're done, that's fine. Don't print your document yet! You're going to type some more on the bottom of it.
You will be graded on accuracy (how many you got correct) and completion (so use your time wisely).
If you want to know more about Taxco or see some more pictures, check out this website.
When you finish the webquest, you and your partner need to divide and conquer some information on gustar. One of you will read this website: http://www.thisispatsplace.us/vocabularygustarplusinfinitivespart2c3g1l1.htm and one of you will read this one: http://www.thisispatsplace.us/vocabularygustarc2v2l1.htm. Take note of the most important things that you learn as you are reading, and tell each other what you learned on your page. Then, you are going to write a dialogue (a short conversation) between at least two people. You will type this into the Word Document where you answered the webquest questions. You must have at least 6 lines (if you have 2 people in your dialogue, each would have to "speak" at least 3 different times. If you have 3 people, each person would "speak" at least 2 times). Use what you've learned in class, what you learned on your websites, and your vocabulary to write an entertaining dialogue about what people like and dislike. Remember, if you want to say that he or she likes something, you must begin your sentence with the word "A." For example, A Elena le gustan los conciertos. Feel free to add clip art to your dialogues.
If you finish with everything, please visit any of the following sites. You should not be doing anything other than this! I will offer extra credit if you do one of the writing exercises and print it out when you're done.
When you finish, be sure to print your Word document and turn it in. Make sure your names are on it!!
